Portability and ruggedness of your data.

When you come to think of it, both a hard disk and optical media are quite fragile. Slide a DVD across the table and you have certainly skuffed it. A skuff here, a skuff there, next thing you know it doesn't work anymore. Now your dragging out the DVD polisher you bought trying to recover precious data. So in the future you stick your finger in the hole and transport it carefully to it's carrying case being carefull not to get any oil on it from you fingers. And finally stuff it away in your handy cloth lined carrying case.     

Hard disk as a transportable medium is a joke. How long can you go before you eventually knock one off the shelf or drop it. Once dropped they are pretty much done.

Who needs this?

Every MediaCorder cartrdige is encased in it's own  tough, hard as nails case,  You can drop them, knock them and sit on em. They can handle it.

No bigger than a deck of cards you can stuff several in your pocket and take them to your buddies house.. They are square so you can stack them on a shelf, throw them in your glove compartment. Take them on trips. If you happen to really damage a cartridge, and the data is very critical unscrew it and insert it into a new case, they are that robust.
